Tenzin Pagdon is a Tibetan dancer and choreographer.

Born into a Tibetan family in South India, she is known as one of the most naturally gifted Tibetan dancers outside Tibet.

Since she moved to the United Kingdom in 2009 with her special dancing skills and passion for dancing, she's been working intensively to develop and transmit the art and knowledge of Tibetan dancing. She has been voluntarily teaching Tibetan children Tibetan dance in the UK for many years, and recently organising Tibetan dance workshops in London with ever increasing number of different students from all over the world.

She is wholeheartedly committed to preserve the unique culture of Tibetan performing art by passing her professionalism on to younger generation, and promote it by showcasing wherever and whenever it is possible for her to.

Introduction to Tibetan Art with Paola Minelli

Paola Minelli is a painter, illustrator, and graphic designer. She has completed eight years of painting studies at the Liceo Artistico and the Academia di Belle Arte in Turin, Italy, and since 1990 has devoted herself to a deepening study of Buddhist art and thangkapainting. She started alongside the artists who painted the frescoes of the Merigar Gompa, chief among whom was Drugu Choegyal, the renowned Mahamudra master and eighth-generation artist in his reincarnation lineage, who, recognizing her nascent capacity, kindly offered her tuition, guidance, and encouragement. Between 1995 and 1996 Paola traveled to Nepal where she studied with the thangkapainter Gega Lama and in India with the thangkapainter Lama Shedrup Sondup. In the past she taught thangka courses at Shang Shung Institute and is also the designer/illustrator of many Shang Shung Publications.
